Kinderköpfe brauchen richtigen Schutz – und unser Helm passt perfekt.

Ein Kinderfahrradhelm muss richtig passen und bequem sein. Das bedeutet, er muss sorgfältig gestaltet sein, um genau der Kopfform von Kindern beim Wachsen zu entsprechen. Wir haben Tausende von Scans von Kinderköpfen untersucht, als wir unseren READY Kinderhelm entworfen haben. So entstand ein Helm, der in jeder Entwicklungsphase eines Kindes perfekt passt und schützt. Ohne Verrutschen, Wackeln, Drücken oder Einschneiden. Aber mit vielen cleveren Details, die Ihr Kind sicher halten und es ihm leicht machen, den Helm selbst aufzusetzen und abzunehmen.

Wie weiß ich, welche Helmgröße mein Kind braucht?

Sie müssen den Kopfumfang Ihres Kindes messen, um die richtige Helmgröße zu bestimmen. Legen Sie ein Maßband etwa 1 cm über den Augenbrauen und Ohren Ihres Kindes an der Stirn an und messen Sie den gesamten Kopfumfang. Überprüfen Sie die Position des Maßbands am Hinterkopf, um sicherzustellen, dass Sie den breitesten Teil messen. 

Vergleichen Sie Ihre Messung mit unseren Größen. Wenn der Kopfumfang Ihres Kindes 48 cm beträgt, benötigen Sie XS (46–50 cm) und so weiter.

Wie stelle ich sicher, dass der Helm richtig sitzt?

Wenn der Helm beim Aufsetzen Ihres Kindes zu eng ist, drehen Sie zunächst das Größeneinstellrad, um das Anpassungssystem innen zu lockern. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Helm waagerecht sitzt und den Kopf Ihres Kindes richtig bedeckt. Der vordere Helmrand sollte etwa 1 cm über den Augenbrauen Ihres Kindes liegen. Drehen Sie das Größeneinstellrad, um den Ring innen so festzuziehen, dass der Helm angenehm und sicher sitzt. Er sollte nicht wackeln, wenn Ihr Kind den Kopf sanft schüttelt. Schließen Sie den Kinnriemenverschluss. Apropos... Beim ersten Aufsetzen des Helms sollte der Kinnriemen bequem am Hals anliegen und nicht zu locker sein.

Cute, but buyer beware. Maybe the description said this, but who would think to read for this.... You have to insert an empty bottle (like an old water bottle) for it to make the crinkle noise. There is a velcro spot at the base where you can open it and insert the water bottle for the noise factor and your dogs entertainment. I've yet to do that, but feel like my dog is gonna figure out the velcro and get the bottle out in no time. Seems like a waste of money. I could just give her an empty water bottle without the toy for free.

My very careful doggo Ted loves them too. He throws them up in the air and catches them, plays tug of war with them, and no rips. They are super sturdy. He can’t wait until Chunk leaves (chunk is 2 and Ted is 12-13) so he can play with them.
